7. Chinley Round
This 8.29-mile loop bags Mount Famine, South Head, Eccles Pike, and Chinley Churn. Estimated time: 4 hours 45 minutes. Elevation gained: 2302.99ft. OS Map Route. I hiked it last spring, loving the views. See my full Ethels map.
6. Dragon’s Back (extended)

This 10.25-mile route bags Featherbed Moss, Black Chew Head, Black Hill, and White Low. Estimated time: 5 hours 10 minutes. Elevation gained: 1735.51ft. OS Map. This 15.84-mile route bags Mill Hill, Featherbed Moss, Higher Shelf Stones, Bleaklow Head, and Cown Edge. Estimated time: 8 hours. Elevation gained: 2695.64ft. OS Map.
