The Watcher
A rainy morning in the Peak District where some low hanging mist was developing in the gorge. Walking along I noticed an old, wise tree which I think has the persona of a gate keeper to the rest of my journey. I took this time to set up my tripod and observe the surroundings, until a light layer of mist was rising from the previous rainfall. A spectacular sight and incredible moment for me to witness, surrounded by nothing but trees, foliage and birds. Images like these quickly become my favourite, not because of the final product but the experience I had and joy that I felt.
