White Peak Landscape Photography Workshop - Golden Hour at the Dragons Back
Explore an icon of The Peak District at either Sunrise, or Sunset… or Both?
This landscape photography workshop is situated at one of the most picturesque locations in the Peak District known as the Dragons Back. I will be running two workshops here, one at Sunset, and the other at Sunrise. Each will give unique results and open up different composition opportunities due to the shift in light patterns and weather conditions.
Directions will be given to a local parking area upon booking, where we will start our walk. Please be aware, it is active farmland with cattle, that has a public footpath running through it. You can expect the workshop to last around 6-8 hours, the timings are as follows:
Saturday Sunset: Arrive at 15:30 (sunset at 19:30)
Sunday Sunrise: Arrive at 05:00 (sunrise at 07:30)
What will you learn? All different techniques ranging from beginner to advanced. I will talk through how your camera work with advice on settings depending on the scenario. How to guide the viewers eye to the focal point, how to simplify the scene. Other methods will be discussed such as bracketing, focus stacking.
I tailor my course to you, as best as I can. Assuring that you learn something new and ultimately come out with work to be proud of.
Not only is this a great opportunity to learn from a professional - but to meet like minded people and make new friends. I often stay in touch with most people from my workshops and share ideas together!
The maximum spaces available will be 5 people. This will allow me to make sure that everyone cant get the help they require and have their questions answered.
Upon booking, I will email you are a short questionnaire about your photography experience, to help me plan the day for you.
