Jack Frost paid a visit to the Peak District on this morning in January. It’s actually Rime Ice that’s on the tree, not frost… which is caused by high humidity and cold temperatures. The water vapour in the atmosphere freezes as it touches the surface, and builds up, most often in freezing fog.
Ironically, I was walking with a photographer friend called Jack on this day!
