The Peak District is home to a lot gritstone edges and tors, this being one of my favourites. Higger Tor is a place where you can really slow down and concentrate on composing a strong image. It is a quick walk up to the top, with plenty to explore.
We will arrive about an hour before sunrise at 05:30, I will provide directions to a local free car park where we will begin the walk. The Workshop will last around 5 hours, exploring further down to an Iron Age hill fort, and its surroundings.
I will talk through how your camera work with advice on settings depending on the scenario. How to guide the viewers eye to the focal point, how to simplify the scene . Other methods will be discussed such as bracketing, focus stacking. All different techniques ranging from beginner to advanced.
I tailor my course to you, as best as I can. Assuring that you learn something new and ultimately come out with work to be proud of.
I welcome all questions, photography related. Not only is this a great opportunity to learn from a professional - but to meet like minded people and make new friends. I often stay in touch with most people from my workshops and share ideas together.
The maximum spaces available will be 5 people. This will allow me to make sure that everyone cant get the help they require and have their questions answered.
Upon booking, I will email you are a short questionnaire about your photography experience, to help me plan the day for you.
