Autumnal Woodland and Waterfalls - Peak District Photography Workshop

£85.00

Explore this beautiful cornucopia, Oak-Birch woodland in the Peak District. One of the best, and local favourites , Padley Gorge. I couldn’t tell you how many times I have been here, every time find new and incredible photographs. Autumn is the perfect time to be here, ironically bringing it into a new life. The colours, combined with the moisture in the air creates a vibrant punch from every corner. A true photographer’s dream.

It is important to note, that although the footpaths are well lay out and easy to follow, we won’t always be sticking to them. It can be uneven and sometimes slippy. Throughout the morning we will be looking at a few different techniques, specifically for woodland photography, and capturing waterfalls- which can be carried across into other areas. The main idea is getting a strong composition, woodland is often very difficult to capture because they are so chaotic. I will talk through different ways to simplify the scene, how to guide the viewers eye to the focal point, and much more. Other methods will be discussed such as bracketing, focus stacking, and ICM. All different techniques ranging from beginner to advanced.

I tailor my course to you, as best as I can. Assuring that you learn something new and ultimately come out with work to be proud of.

I welcome all questions, photography, location or hiking related. If you wish for some 1:1 guidance and time allows it, then by all means please ask. Not only is this a great opportunity to learn from a professional - but to meet like minded people and make new friends. I often stay in touch with most people from my workshops and share ideas together in a WhatsApp group (I will add you to it if that’s something you’re interested in)

The maximum spaces available will be 4, five people including me. This will allow me to make sure that everyone cant get the help they require and have their questions answered.

Upon booking, I will email you are a short questionnaire about your photography experience, to help me plan the day for you.
